Ending Your Tenancy

If you want to end your tenancy, you must give 28 days written notice and complete a Termination of Tenancy Form.  When we receive this, Maintenance staff will visit your home and tell you about any reinstatement repairs or work required before you leave.  You must allow access for this visit before you leave the property and you may be charged for any reinstatement work not completed at the end of the tenancy. 

It is important to leave your home and garden clean and tidy with all furniture, belongings and possessions removed from the property.  When you move you should return all keys to our office. 

Let everyone know that you are leaving, remembering to take meter readings and let your utility suppliers (gas and electricity) know the final readings.  We have included a Moving Home Checklist in your Tenancy pack.
