Your Tenancy
It is our aim that our tenants are able to enjoy their homes in a safe, secure and sustainable environment.
Our estate management policies and procedures have been designed to ensure that tenancy services provided cover all community based issues. These issues include alterations to property, neighbour disputes, dog fouling, ground maintenance and general provisions such as close cleaning, recycling and household waste.
To assist us in delivering these community services, there are a number of ways where you can help:
- Look after your garden by ensuring it is maintained through regular cutting of grass and weeding of both gardens and driveways
- Dispose of your household litter and waste responsibly by using the appropriate waste and recycling bins in the designated bin areas
- Be considerate and respectful of your neighbours and do not engage in any behaviour which could be regarded as anti-social
Where problems are experienced, for example, if neighbour disputes or anti-social behaviour is reported, we are committed to tackling these in partnership with other agencies including North Lanarkshire Council's Anti-Social Response Team. The Anti-Social Response Team operates a 24-hour reporting service and can be contacted on 0300 123 1382 for confidential advice and assistance. The Association also offer advice and guidance by promoting a mediation service.
We are committed to promoting opportunities to provide independent living to a variety of people who may require support. We provide accommodation with linked support packages from other agencies to enable people to sustain tenancies within their community. General advice and guidance is available from our Housing Team and partners in Social Work to provide suitable support designed to meet needs.
Further information on all aspects of your tenancy is available in our Tenants Handbook.
